Using Xbox Live Mic as Rock Band Mic?

Yeah you read right, i was wondering if i could use the regular xbox live mic, hooked into a controller as the singing mic for rock band. I know it sound crazy, but that would b so much easier

yeah you can do that and it is a lot easier. it also allows you to play another instrument at the same time [even though it is kinda hard]. and for the songs that include the tambourine you need to press the A button.
