Question:

Using a Floyd Rose for a headless guitar?

I'm currently building a guitar and i was wondering if I used a Floyd Rose bridge can I just use the tuning k***s on the bridge or does the bridge still require the machine heads to hold the strings in place,

Thanks in advance,

Prohad.

  1. Floyd Rose now makes a Speedloader model. Using this bridge (comes in fixed or traditional FR floating) allows you to go with a headless build type. FR actually has a line of guitars out that use this bridge system. The guitars have a tunerless headstock design.
