Using a Gamecube save file on the Wii?

I have Twilight Princess for my gamecube, and I haven't finished it, and recently a friend gave me Twilight Princess but for the Wii, I don't want to go through all those dungeons again, so my question is... can I use a gamecube save file on the Wii version of the game?

Unfortunately, you can't.

No, they are still two different games, even though the title and what not is the same. A Gamecube save will not work with the Wii game.
