The recorder is on the same side as the screen so it doesn't pick up sound well and I need a microphone or something so my friend and I can be heard while also being seen. thanks!

(sorry if I'm just confusing you)

  1. Couple of options:

    1.  The SD600 is a decent video camera, but its PRIMARY use is, of course, a digital still cam.  To this end, I would recommend picking up a good webcam (Logitech, 1.3mp -- good place to start).  This will provide sufficient visual AND aural effects for your doubtless-many viewers.  Retail for something like this is around 50 or less if you buy from newegg; ~60 if you buy from a store (I know Staples and BB have them).

    2.  Microphone alone: get a CA or Logitech mic (example here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.as...  that plugs directly into your audio jack.  This kinda toy won't run more than $25 for a decent one.  Could be a spot tricky running the camera and the mic simultaneously, but it's not hard if you know what you're after.

    Cheers
