Using a different phone by switching SIM card?

I got a new phone from Rogers about a year ago on a 3-year contract, so I still have to be tied to them for 2 years. I really love the LG Keybo phone from Telus:

I was wondering if I could just buy the LG Keybo, and then put my Rogers SIM card into it? I would still be keeping my Rogers plan and not breaking my contract, but just using a different phone. Is this possible? Thanks in advance.

  1. Yes but you would have to pay the no contract price of $300
