Using a digital camera as a webcam? easy 10 pts.?

how can i use a kodak easyshare c763 as a webcam, a hack or something. what programs would i need, a diagram would be great or a video or something really understandable. i know theres a way but im not sure how, ill give best answer for the best! thanks a bunch!!!!

  1. Turn it on  in Video mode , connect it to your USB and depending on your software it should be viewed as a mass storage device, just click on the drive letter and it should be viewable on line.


  2. I don't think you can.

    If you want to turn a digi into a webcam you need a camera that supports remote shooting/capture and software such as Softcam or e2eSoft VCam.

    Remote capture is mostly a Canon feature, though I've heard a few Sonys support it as well.

    But don't take my word for it, keep looking online and ask Kodak.
