Using a treadmill to shape up?

My husband is going to Iraq again, after he got back last time we had a baby and now hes going again and after having all this baby weight, i would really like to shape up for him for when he returns, (1 year) How fast does it really take to shape up using a treadmill if i decide to purchase one and use it an hour or more each day and eat healthy?? Thanks so much for your help.

  1. Don't use a treadmill, trust me. Treadmills cause more wear and tear on your legs, and with more wear and tear on your legs losing weight is much harder.  Run/jog/walk on the ground for maybe about 10 minutes a day, 6 days a week. Also, if you really want to lose weight go buy some 150 calorie-300 calorie soups. Or you could go in the frozen foods sections and get the name brand food "Healthy Choice." It's usually in a green label. Good luck.
