Using a video recorder about 3 years old -why does the colours not record true i.e. they seem to be darker?

this recorder is connected to cable television and has worked o.k until now it has not been over used

  1. Have you tried using a head cleaner?


  2. Check whether your TV has any controls for colour saturation etc for the input channel you are using for the VCR.
