Using antenna splitter, not getting Signal to both receiver.?

I have 1 antenna at my roof with single LNB. I want ti connect 2 individual receiver with same wire.

I am using such type of splitter http://www.summitsource.com/images/products/SP2532.jpg

one tv is ruing fine and second one is saying signal not found.

is there any different quality or different profile splitter is demanded?

Which splitter should i use

  2. OK, first some basics.  An LNB is a Low Noise Block down Converter.  It amplifies the satellite signal and shifts the whole band down to L-Band ( 950 MHz - 1450 MHz).  Then the satellite receiver does the tuning.

    So, if you are talking about a small dish like Dish Network or DirecTV, you should be able to split the signal between the dish and receiver.  Just make sure you use a splitter and cable that is good to at least 1450 MHz.  Note that the splitter must also have a port that will pass power from the receiver to the LNB to power it.  That will be marked on the cover of the splitter.  The splitter you are showing does not appear to pass power.  This one will http://www.arrisistore.com/product.php?p... .
