Using bookmaker.com and other betting sites?

I realize the US is cutting down on these sites, in my town I think my bank is one of the only ones that still lets you put money in through the debit card. I havent recently won a large amount of money from one of these sites (around $1000), my question is where should i cash it? Is it safe to deposit in my bank? Or will they have questions about where it is coming from? Please help. thanks
