  1. That is the bridle path.

    Be careful.

  2. It is called a BridlePath.  And to measure the length that it should be you fold your horse's ear down along his or hers neck,  at the tip of his ear is where you should clip it to.  From between the ears (the poll) to where the ear ends!

  3. A small section where the bridle would sit is called a bridle path.

  4. Correct it is the Bridle Path, we usually clip an ears length as was stated but we always leave the last bit unclipped.  You know how it is cutting bangs, pretty soon you have none.  So always leave a "tag" and don't cut past it (unless you are going to a show) and be careful on the forelock end for sure!

  5. Its called the Bridle Path. It is where the bridle sits.

The bridle path is different for some breeds.

But, the bridle path is usaully made by laying the ear flat on the crest/pole, then clipping the area that is covered by the ear.
