  1. Keep the crutches next to you on the bus.  They would then be available to you when you get on and off the bus.  I didn't need to pay any extra when I traveled on Greyhound with them.  They were nice and helped me with my luggage.  I did tip the person who helped me.  It wasn't very much but what I had at the time, about 2 or 3 dollars...

  2. You need your crutches to board and deboard and to go to the restroom, so you will keep them with you, either under your seat or leaning up against the wall if you have an inside seat, or, if an outside seat, next to you in the aisle.

Passengers do not load or unload luggage.  So you don't have to worry about that. For carry on luggage, get something with long handles so you can grip your crutch and dangle the bag with the same hand, or hand the bag on your shoulder.

  3. If you are on crutches, then I would say no there shouldn't be any extra cost.  If you have crutches you should be able to move around on your own.

A wheelchair is a different story though.
