Using gmail

Question

I've recently changed to gmail from outlook express and I am not a savvy computer person, change is hard, and I am not finding it easy to move my address book for one thing. Where on their site can I go to get step by step and complete explanations of their site. I have been working on this for hours. Frustrated!!!!
