Using hairspray, how do I make my hair poofy at the top?

Not like "scene" poofy, but just volumized at the top. I have the Big s**y Hair brand hairspray, what do I do when I use it so my hair pops up? I do NOT want to tease my hair, by the way.

spray right at the roots then rub it in with your fingers.

i guess kinda grab the top nd pull it up a lil bit it might sound stupid cuz i dnt think u would get it unless there was a vid or sumthing

Massage hair mousse into your routes.

It will make the hair stand up and look more volumised.

first you need to bend your neck then comb your hair from your head down to the end of each.

then stand,hold your hair up and comb it from the end to your scalp

do it several times and then use the spray

hold up the top and spray underneath. it really helps if you tease it underneath, too. it doesn't look the way you're probably thinking.

split your hair in different parts, like how you do when you straighten it,

and take your hairspray and spray it under your hair, then take a big round brush, and brush it from underneath.

lift the top part up of the hair, like flap it up,

spray some hairspray on your hands, and "claw" the hair beneath the flap

it will poof up

cover up with the top flap

you should stick to flat ironing, it's classier.

you HAVE to tease/back-comb it. that's how it's done. you tease it (only at the roots), then hairspray where you teased.

lots and lots of practice.

ok get some volumizing cream and put on like the instructions state.

blow dry hair upside down [i know, i'm sorry] being sure to pay special attention to your roots.

lift hair up in certain groups and LIGHTLY spray the root area [i say lightly because if you use to much it will not turn out well].

turn head right side up and adjust to your liking.

when you are done doing your hair .....section off the bottom half of your hair and put it in to a hair tie......then flip your head upside down and hiar roots......wait a minute or two the flip back over ......and brush back into place ....but NOT TO HARD......so you dont make it flat again
