Hi,

I am stuck at a question about kirchhoff's law and a circuit:

Can this be simply be redrawn like a wheatstone bridge? Its looks for i1, i2 and i3 given that r1=r4=2 Ohms and r2=r3=r5=3 Ohms. v1 is 2 Volts.

Hope i can get some pointers

  1. Hi

    Balance occurs when R1*R4 = R2*R3

    SO you have BALANCED WHEATSTONE brigde

    SO:

    voltage on R5=0    I3=0

    I1=I2=V1/(R1+R3)=V1/(R2+R4)=2/5=0,4A

    battery current is I1+I2=0.8A

    hope this will help you

    good luck
