Using logos of various company in your site.?

Question

can we use logos of different brands of airlines,cruise ,and car rental companies, visa , master card etc..

on our site .

or do we need any kind of permission for that.

and what is the legal way

You need written permission to use any logos.  That permission can be in a letter, fax, contract, email, or even a terms/conditions clause directly on the website.

EDIT: And, no, just a link back is not the legal way to do it unless the company specifically allows it.

well it depends for what reason but you should be able to use them.

Legally, you can use any logo on your website as long as it links back to the orignal website. If you are using the logo without link then you are in trouble and might get sued
