I have an oyster card, i will use pay and as you go.

I am going to elm park station and have to get to blackhorse road.

To do this i will use the overground system i think it was ex-silverlink.

It goes from elm park to blackhorse road.

Do i have to tap into the overground train or can i use it like other underground trains and simply pass through and tap out at blackhorse road.

I havent any clue wish TFL website would help but it doesnt.

  1. You should only need to tap in with your Oyster card at Elm Park Station and tap out at Blackhorse Rd. You will not need to touch your Oyster Card in anywhere in between. If you do you will end up paying more than you have to.

When you change to the overland at Barking, you do not need to go through a ticket barrier to get from the District line to London Overground.
