Using my memory card to transfer pictures onto my laptop?

I have an HP photosmart E317. (with the memory card that comes with it) I want to get my pictures onto my laptop. Can I just slip the picture in the slot? please help

  1. Yes! Piece of cake. The cardreader will read it like a flash drive and you will be prompted for the next step.  


  2. if your laptop has a slot for it, if not then get an adapter
