Using my stuff on an airpane?

Question

Can I use my iPod during takeoffs and landings, with the window shades closed, while talking to the tower on my hand held VHF radio. I mean, I would only do this if there were parachutes under the seats and the airplane was made like a "black box", except I would probably need to know if any seats are empty first, I mean if there's no seats, I'm not going LOL.

I just want to know if I can do this, and if I can bring bottles of wine in my carry on. I just really need to know, I'm leaving in 5 minutes, if I can find my ID card.

Ipods cannot be used on an aircraft during takeoff and landing regardless of what material the aircraft is made of...

and no you cannot bring bottles of wine on your carry on as they are a liquid and most bottles are above the allowable limit...

No to the ipod, why risk it and violate safety rules. The reason they do this is b/c even though there is a minute possibility of it interfering with ATC communications, if the aircraft aborts the takeoff or makes a hard landing, it can become a projectile that can injure/kill someone.

     No to the VHF radio. It is a FEDERAL OFFENSE to interfere with ATC operations. Talking to them distracts them from what they should be doing. If you do this, one they can easily, and no I'm not BSing, triangulate your position (cool, huh) and find you, and two, you will spend YEARS in a FEDERAL PENITENTIARY and pay TENS OF THOUSANDS of dollars in fines.

     No you can't bring wine in your carry-on, put it in your checked bags. 1) TSA won't allow it because its over the several ounce limit on liquids in carry-on baggage b/c of those a******s you were trying to blow up the airliners over the Atlantic a year or to ago. 2) It can be used as a weapon. Maybe if you bought it in duty-free, but I doubt b/c it's glass.

     Don't s***w around with the FAA and TSA. If you act like an ****** and cause problems, they can lock you away, and they will, for a long time. Don't take this as me attacking you, I'm just trying to look out for you a prevent you from doing something stupid. Using that radio to contact the tower (if you can find the frequency) can cause big problems. Plus I doubt they'd even let you through security with it, so you'd lose the radio anyway.

Of course you can do all those things; but first you have to know...

--What makes an airplane fly;

--What a 14 year old has to do to become an airline pilot;

--Whether the crew is having s*x while the autopilot flies the airplane;

--What the white smoke is that comes out the back of the airplane; and

--What that thing was with the flashing lights and the shape of a banana that flew over the back yard last night at dusk.

You will not get through security with the bottles.

And if you use your iPod on the plane, you may up in a TSA holding area, until they remember they put you in there.......

all i know is you can't bring bottles of wine becuz if you break the bottle you can kill someone
