Question:

Using oil in the hair?

I saw one of the answer and it said it's good to mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and honey and to put it in the hair. I couldn't find avocado oil. Would it be all right if I mixed the other oils and honey and used it with out avocado oil.

Here's the question and answer I found this on: http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Ala_w1gPxulSlXgo4506FIrty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20070712171323AArpybA

  1. What are you putting all this oil in your hair for? Is your hair really dry and you're using this as a treatment or something? Sounds like a pain to wash out.

  2. A raw egg is supposed to be very moisturising too, but I've never tried it. Good luck :)

  3. all i really use is almond or coconut oil.

i never put them together, that's bad, they have different gross chemicals and stuff.

but, using them seperate, ONLY almond and coconut oil, is good.. but not together.

i use that, its so healthy for the hair, makes it smoother, and silkier.

for one whole day keep it in, then take a shower, you'll see the results, message me if it works.

  4. i'm not sure but i know olive oil is very good for the hair

  5. It would work fine.

  6. Yes, you can leave out the avocado oil. Or since you're having honey and it's going to be very messy anyway, you can mash 1/2 an avocado and add it to the mixture.

But you can leave it out altogether without any problem.

How long do you plan to leave it on your hair?

    All the best

  7. idk..
