Using sleep mate for 3 days know (white noise machine)

Ok so I have the 980A duel speed and set ever hole open and second speed still can here noises like brothers tv, shower running and so on. Though do note that the house is vary old 20 years and has paper thin walls. So it's easy to here small noise like the side door closing.

It's a sleep aid, not a miracle worker.  If your surroundings are too loud, they're not going to completely drown them out.  Of course, if you focus on the steady hum of the machine, it will have kind of a trance-like effect.
