Using solarium tanning salons ends up to skin cancer?!!?

i live in iran and naturaly i dont have a pale skin but every summer i get a killer tann but this year i couldnt so i was thinking about going to solarium tanning salons but its forbidden here because of skin cancer they say so i was wondering is it really that much dangerous to end up getting skin cancer?!!

yes, the peak hour in a day for uv rays has a rating of 12, a solarium has a rating of 60, they really can kill you
