Question:

Using spray adhesive to cover vinyl furniture with fabric...?

My son has a loveseat in his room. He uses it for a bed (and also a wrestling mat, dog bed and part-time bedroom floor! What can I say--he's 13!) It folds out and is made mostly of dense foam with a very supple, soft vinyl covering. The seat part has several tears and slices in it. The foam inside is still sound and not ripped up at all. Can I use spray adhesive to cover the seat sections with fabric? I don't expect it to look professional, just better than it does. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

  1. i would make a duvet-cover to cover 2 large pillows and let the finished stuffed duvet rest on top of the seat area so you don't have to see the imperfections.

  2. It's going to smell like spray adhesive for a long time.
