  1. Ok so you put in the numbers for the letters like this:

    S=18.5(1+11/100)^5

    then you simplify it by first doing the stuff in the ( )

    then do that number to the ^5

    and the multiply it with 18.5

    at least I think that's what you do. Hope it helped
