  1. In a globalised world,

things are changing so fast....you can find a lot of contrast...one pulling the other on the opposite side...

Your question needs very details answer..due to space I am just discussing one country..

    U.A.E ; Islamic culture.....

    Language : Arabic

    Religion : Islam

Social in equalities : Men and women..

but due to globalisation and changing trend

the majority of the people there are Indian in culture

    Language is English and Hindi

    Religion :45% are Muslims.

The society is so mixed that you can call it international city.

    Now coming to your question

When people of different countries learn to work, earn and do business...together,

it is not the theory of stratification,

but theory of co-existence...that pays the way for better future.

    GLOBALISATION  IS IRREVERSIBLE

  2. The question requires an answer which is far too deep and would take a lot of space in this forum.

Precis: Split the global economies into the common groups and work up from the lowest to the highest or vice-versa and throw in indicators of power and influence such as hegemony.

Google Scholar would be worth an input. Good luck!
