I'll be on a day-long trip and wearing a wetsuit. If I need to go..how do I deal with it:) Do they stop the boat or what? How do you go if in the wetsuit?

  1. If you're on a full day trip, believe me, you won't be the only one that will have to go to the bathroom. Most rafting guides will go over this info prior to suiting up.  Especially so if you're using one of their wetsuits.  Many wetsuits have a "relief" zipper that allows you to go without taking the suit off.

If they don't cover the topic before you launch, ask your guide -- "What if I have to pee!??"  They've heard the question before, and have a solution.

  2. As an experienced SCUBA diver, I know that you can go in a wetsuit but I would not recommend it (especially if not in the water).  If you do wet the wetsuit, people around you will know.

Most rafting trips (everyone I have taken and heard about) stop and take several breaks.  I am sure this is something you do not need to worry about.

  3. just go in the wetsuit
