Using trend micro internet security for my computer?

I brought Trend micro security when i brought my laptop. It is set up to scan the computer once a week. I seem to have a few problems with it and it often pops up saying there is problems. When i installed it it said to turn off windows firewall and also i notice that the laptop has norton security on it that i didnt set up because i had brought the trend one. Is this right and is this the best one to use or would norton be better? Any advice or help would be good as i have no idea! Thanks

It is always better to install any other antivirus instead of Norton as norton takes lot of time to scan and uses the Memory also.

Step 1 CCleaner is a freeware system optimization and privacy tool.Download , Install and Run it. Clean every options given in this tool

Step 2. The indexing service causes the same negative effect of consuming resources. This is a service that you dont need. Trust me.

Step 3 Disabling the Indexing Service: procedure

1. Click Start

2. Click “My Computer”

3. Under “Hard Disk Drives” right click on your Hard Disk

4. Click “Properties”

5. Uncheck “Allow Indexing Service to index this disk for fast file searching”

6. Click “Apply”

7. Select “Apply changes to C:\ Subfolder and files” and hit OK

8. If anything pop on to the the screen hit ignore.

Step 4 Disabling Unneeded Visual Effects

1. Head over to your desktop and click "Start"

2. Then click right click on "My Computer"

3. Select Properties"

4. Select "Advanced" tab,

5. Then in the "Performance" tab section select "Settings"

6. Select "Adjust for best performance"

7. Then Hit “OK”

You'll have to uninstall the Norton Security from the laptop they're a pain

Install Trend Micro since you bought it give them a call and use their support as you've already paid for it.
