  1. 1. They make their food either by eating other dead sea creatures by breaking them down, or extracting mineral on the bottom soil and in the water.

    2. The field probably has richer soil which means more underground creature like worms for the Robins to feed or the farmer of that field does not use any pesticide thus have larger insect population or the field is does not have no traps and scarecrows thus have easier access to grains or the crops grown there are the favorite food source of Robins or food source of other insects or animal that Robins prey upon.

    3. There probably have more small micro-organism that live in the pond thus their process of breaking down food releases by products or heat that caused the dramatic change.

    4. Most probably the rodent will be nocturnal and will hunt or scavage food by night that way it can avoid day time predators and hunt or find food when the temperatures cooler .
