"The good batsmen will always score runs in any form and the good bowlers will take wickets regardless of the format. I've made the Test squad, but it's also my goal to play one-day cricket for Australia. I keep aiming for that," the Sydney Morning Herald
quoted Khawaja, as saying.
His phenomenal strike rate of 127.95 in Twenty20s indicates that Khawaja has the ability to accelerate according to the situation. Although, the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-South-Wales-c823 batsman has been doing well in the List A matches, he believes that there is still a lot of hard
work required to be a member of national ODI setup.
"I was happy to get my chance to play Test cricket, and hopefully I can get a few more opportunities to do well there and make a career out of that. Test cricket will always remain the priority, but I'd also like to be in the one-day squad and I hope with
a bit more hard work I might get there,” he added.
