Out of favour young Pakistani batsman, Usman Salahuddin, is excited to get an opportunity to play against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/United-Arab-Emirates-c3033 (UAE) ahead of the Test series between the two countries.
The right-handed batsman has been doing very well in domestic cricket since the last couple of seasons, and this is the reason why he was given a chance to represent http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 in 2011. However, since
then he has been sidelined.
The batsman from Lahore has been performing brilliantly in the on-going domestic season and as a result, he has been give the chance to prove his worth in the practice match against England, which is the number one ranked Test team of the world.
While speaking to Pakpassion, Usman expressed that England is one of his favourite teams and he is delighted to have been given a go against them. The right handed batsman feels that this match provides him with a chance to test his mettle.
The young cricketer said, “When my name was announced for the squad I was absolutely delighted. It’s going to be a dream come true to come face to face with cricketers who are amongst the best in the business. To get the opportunity to test oneself against
the number one ranked Test side is fantastic and something that I aim to make the most of”.
Usman is in the mood to make the utmost of this chance and to become the favorite of selectors in one go.
The right-handed middle-order batsman further added that http://www.senore.com/Cricket/KP-Pietersen-c1806 is his favourite batsman, and he wants to see him bat in order to learn from the Great.
“The three day match against England will be a good opportunity to watch one of my favourite batsmen at close quarters. I always enjoy watching Pietersen bat and love the way he is always very positive at the crease”, the batsman from Lahore added.
