Usps, when can i expect my package?

Your item was processed and left our FLUSHING, NY 11351 facility on April 4, 2008

does it mean it has been shipped?

the status just states processed despite the info on top

and if so around when can i expect it? that is all the information usps provides me when i track it

it was to be shipped to south texas

  1. Call the 800 # on website and using the tracking number supplied for your package, they can give you the exact day the package will arrive or the # of days shipping will take so you can determine delivery date (the automated system for UPS can do this but I'm not sure if you need a "live person for USPS"!


  2. Ground may be anywhere for 3 days to a week or more... it's hard to say, ground is slower 'cause they ship it in trucks, and it depends on how far it has to go, I usually just pay more for next day shipping 'cause I hate to wait haha.

  3. USPS doesn't generally have 'real' tracking numbers. Even with Priority mail, the best you'll get is when it was shipped, and when it was delivered.  But no real-time tracking is available.

    That said, your parcel should probably take less than a week in transit from NY to TX, unless it was sent Media Mail, then it could take up to several weeks.

    By the way - USPS does not have a 'ground' service for packages - they've got Media Mail (for printed or electronic media only,) Parcel Post, Priority, and Express service.
