Usps parcel mail with no tracking number?

i ordered an item from ebay that was coming from washington. it was being shipped parcel mail thru usps. its been 10 days. what could be taking so long and is there anyway to track a package without a tracking number? how long should it take?

it seems like it was not sent expedited

so you can wait up to 2 weeks(especially if they sent it the most cost affordable)

secondly their can sometimes be delays through duty

You say it was shipped by parcel. Do you mean Parcel Post, Priority Mail Parcel, First Class Mail parcel. Where is it going to? I suspect that you might be talking Parcel Post.

You also need to consider when it was actually mailed. It is not very common for Ebay sellers to send something out the same day that it is paid for. You need to know when it was entered into the mail to determine if it is being held up somewhere.

You also need to consider if this is an International shipment. That would open a whole other set of possibilities.
