Usps question?

i bought an item from ebay....I was wondering if I could just pick up the shipment at usps, instead of it waiting for it to arrive.....it is a surprise gift, so i don't want the person to see it...i work all day...and everytime usps comes at my door, the time im at work.

you can tell them to hold it for you and they will just tell them only you can pick it up
