Usually, when are the try-outs for the freshmen team

Question

Before the first day, after the first day, 2 weeks after the first day? I went on the website and they say anything about the tryouts. All they talk about is last years team. When do I get information about the team, and when the try-outs are?

Well first listen to the morning announcements cuz they will eventually tell u. Second, the tryouts should be around september and october at latest. Third, ur skool mite do some lil extra things involving basketball b4 the tryouts. When i was freshman rite on the first day we started a boot camp to get ready for bball then we had solid 2 weeks of scrimmage games with all ppl who wants to tryout seperated to 4 teams. Then we had tryouts after that for another week or two. Fun? Definitely. Be sure to give all u got.

From my experience they have always been about a week after the first day of school. But it's been a few years since ive been out of high school so i can't really give you a more accurate answer. But you can always ask the coach on the first day of school.

In most schools, basketball is a winter sport, so tryouts begin in early to mid-November.

try outs are always the monday after thanks giving
