Utah Jazz put up a strong offensive performance to down Los Angeles Lakers 117-110 here at the Staples Center on Sunday night.

posted 22 points and dished out 9 assists while Al Jefferson collected a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Jazz.
"The guys have been doing a great job of just coming back and learning every night and getting better every night we step out there on the floor." Jazz coach Tyrone Corbin commented post game.

60-51 by halftime.
World Peace fired a three pointer to kick off an 8-0 run for the Lakers early in the third period that made it a two point game on 62-64. It was neck and neck between both teams throughout the quarter and the Lakers were trailing
85-88 by the end of it.
Gordon Hayward made a three point early in the fourth that started off a 8 nil run for the Jazz, psuhing them to 102-91. Another 6-0 spurt pushed their lead to 108-93 with 5:36 in the regulation. The Lakers tried hard to come back
into the game and managed to make it a 5 point game on 110-115, with 1:10 left on the clock. They could not chase any more though and went down 110-117 eventually.
