Uterus not contracting after birth but no bleeding?

My daughter was born 10 days ago and I haven't bled much past 3 days. She is a very good nurser and nursed constantly from about 3 minutes past birth ( I had her at home). My midwife felt my uterus at two days and she felt it at my navel. I still didn't bleed much and started running a slight fever and she put me on NF-X and told me to rest. She felt my uterus at 8 days and it was only about 2 fingerbreadths below my navel but still I am not bleeding. I will bleed all at once after she massages my uterus and it will stop as quickly as it starts. Has anyone had this problem?

just keep massaging your lower abdomen to keep your uterus tight.

you may have finished bleeding but that was awful quick. watch for any unusual smells. and keep massaging your uterus for another week to keep it shrinking.
