Utorrent 1.8 downgrade to 1.7.7?

Question

I downgraded back to 1.7.7 from 1.8 because the download speeds were too slow. My speed in the past was about 200 kb/s but now the download speeds do not go over 20 kb/s even with my forwarded port. There seems to be something wrong, but i can't find any solution to increase my speed. Can someone please help with a detailed guide or explanation.

I had the same problem. I didnt research the reason though. If you want an explanation someone on the Utorrent forum should be able to provide the low-down on what the cause is.
