i'm going on a vacation to up-state and i didn't know about it til today and i have to pack by tom. when we're leaving!!!!what should i bring in 1 bag??i've never been up-state before!!

It would have been helpful to say which state you are talking about. The term up-state is common to NY so maybe that's  it.

Casual clothing that can be layered is good. Might get cool at night. Something to keep the rain off is good too. Don't forget comfy walking shoes.

Something a little dressy for the evenings maybe?
