V Festival, are they strict about campsites?

i have tickets for the yellow campsite at V Festival in Hylands Park but friends are in red. does anyone know, from previous experience, whether they are strict about the designated campsites? Or can you go on wherever? please help!

Hmm. When I went to V Festival, I arranged it with my friends so we were all in the same site at Hylands Park, but I don't think there were any problems with moving around the sites.

Ah well, give me a couple of minutes and I'll find a definite answer.

EDIT: I searched around the Internet for a bit, but no-one actually has any information on it. They do talk about the safety of sharing tents, if you know what I mean, and I'm assuming that you don't have to love someone in the same campsite as you or else it would be like Romeo and Juliet.

I think you might have to pitch your tent in your area so they don't think that someone's missing in the yellow campsite. However, I'm pretty certain that you can spend all day and most of the night with your friends, and then go to sleep in your own designated campsite.

I'm uncertain if you can take your tent with you, however. When you get there, ask a steward; they'll be hundreds of these wandering around.
