  1. Hi! You start w/ your left foot forward & then do a right-left-right & bend your knees, put your arms back & then jump.(make sure your arms come up forward) then hit the ball.Good Luck!

  2. 1. You can step off with your left or right foot, 2.  If you started with your left then 2. would be step with right foot, if you started with your right 2. would be step with left foot.., the 3.  You land on both feet, bend knees, and jump

  3. left...right...together....jump

  4. hey there!

    - always have a set amount of steps for your approach. If the 3 step approach is most comfortable for you, then stick with it and never change it. The 3 step approach is the easiest so i'll talk about that one.

so start off by standing a little to the left of the out-of-bounds line and right behind the 10-foot line.

Even before taking the first step, sort of lean you body forward to get you started and ready for the hit, and also, if you're caught off guard or you take off a little late, then your forward-lean will compensate and help you get to the ball quicker.

    1)  First, since you're right handed, take a step forward with your left foot. And as you take the first step, raise your arms up and horizontal like the zombies in movies (you arms should be straight out and about chest-height).

    2)  Then, take a stride with your right foot and as you do that, kind of crouch down with your hands swung behind you. So, i guess, jump into a crouching position with your arms behind you.

    3)  Now that you've swung your arms back behind you and you're low to the ground, simultaneously swing your arms up and jump straight up off of both feet. Then get the amazing ten-foot kill, or a tool is nice.

    extra tips:

The best time to start the approach is right when the ball reaches the setter's hands. But don't strictly leave right when the setter touches the ball. If your timing is off, either leave earlier/later, or just talk to your setter and work things out. That's what teammates are supposed to do in volleyball- talk.

Spiking- When you hit, put your left hand in front, and you right arm bent upwards behind your head. (when you make contact with the ball, the it should be at the highest point of your swing. In other words, the ball should be at the point where your arm isn't bent when you swing.) Then, as you make contact, follow through by snapping your upper body forwards and snapping your wrist downwards. This gives your hit more power and top spin.

I hope that all of my tips and recommondations are clear and easy to understand.

Good luck with everything and God Bless!

  5. left foot and right approach the net, left and right (jump) and spike

(i think left, right, plant feet, and explode and hit)

  6. hi , you take off with your left foot then your right then left and jump.

  7. well, you start your aproach is when the ball that got "setted" is at the top of it's peak.

  8. l-e-f-t...right left!!  the first one is slowler and a much larger step, the 2nd 2 are faster and you jump straight up when you are done and slam that ball down girl!!  Then you faithfully chant...aaahhhh...KILL!!!

  9. OK. when the ball leaves the setters hands and you know its comin to you, you wait untill the ball is at its highest point(when the ball stays in one place for a split second then starts dropping) you start with your left foot and go left, right, left then you want to bring your arms back to help thrust yourself up and you want to point with your rleft hadn then hit with your right hand and follow through..any questions email me

  10. ok.....when the ball leaves the setter......wait till it get's to it's highest point.....when it starts to fall......right foot forward......then you take a step with you left.....then with your right....together then jump.....hoped that i helped.
