VB.net 32 bit working, 64 bit ?

Question

Hello, I have a program that I have been developing in 32 bit that uses a few libraries from other companies. All have 64 bit support and should be working properly. However when I compile and install (using a 64 bit installer) it does not run. Is there something that I am missing in the actual project compiling?

Are you using a 64-bit operating system (which requires a 64-bit processor)?, otherwise it won't run. I realise this may seem silly if you actually know what you are doing; but a lot of newbies to programming and 64-bit operating systems don't know this or forget about this,
