VC++2005 Express Not Showing Line Number?

For some reason my IDE doesnt show the number line for my codes.

Like #include <iostream> is line 1 and all the otehr code line

2, 5 ,10 etc. How can i put this on?

  1. Tools -&gt; Options -&gt; Text Editor -&gt; Click your language -&gt; General

    Near the bottom. This is in VS 2008, but I don&#039;t think it&#039;s moved.


  2. you have to set it TO show LINE NUMBERS

    on the menu bar, select TOOLS-&gt;Options...

    then select, Text Editor from the list and then click on

    C/C++ (settings will be displayed on the right side)

    under Display,

    check LINE NUMBERS
