Question:

VCC vs. London School?

I have the option of going to either Vancouver Community College or London School of Hairdressing & Aesthetics. I can't decide between the two because they both teach different things. but they both teach some of the same basic things as well. like VCC teaches Salon business (btw i'm doing hair design) and salon ecology and scalp treatments and such. however, London School seems to be more fancy and i'm not sure, but i think it teaches more things about the hair styling techniques and stuff. but i'm not sure. maybe they both have the same thing to offer? which is the better choice in your opinion and why?

  1. I prefer community colleges for the initial college experience.  They deal in basics and hard facts, not all the fancy things up front.  Get a firm foundation in your chosen field at your community college, but later on consider more advanced schools such as London School of Hairdressing & Aesthetics.  Good luck in all your educational endeavors!
