VCR composite out and coax out at the same time?

Question

I want to connect my video capture card to my VCR and still be able to watch videos on TV while I am in the process of converting everything to DVD. will my VCR put out on both outputs?

depends on the brand and who programed it at the factory, if that was having a bad day that day, then it won't   (Just picture a Korean man deviously laughing at americans)  if he had a good day then it will.

the only way to know is to try it.

It should, but the only way to be sure is to try it. Both my DVD players output on the different outputs simultaneously, and I see no reason why your VCR would be different.

try it. some devices will do that, some wont.
