VCR will not go to date 2009

Question

I Have a Magnavox VHS HQ VCR PLUS Serial NO 34075346 Model NO VR9342AT21 I am trying to set the VCR dat to Janurary, 2009 It will not go any further than December 2008. There is a funtion on the remote control that says VCR Code is that the problem and if it is how will I go about geting that code to fix this problem.That is on the VCR Plus botton on the remote control.
