  2. Basic list just minus animal products. Make sure you get fresh fruits and vegetables (especially green and leafy vegetables),  whole grains (pasta, cereal, bread), nuts (almonds, raw cashews, hazelnuts, walnuts, etc), seeds (flax and pumpkin), nutritional yeast, beans (black, pinto, baked, kidney, re fried, navy, etc), seiten, tofu, tvp, felafel's, pita bread, vegan margarine/butter, quinoa, tempeh, lentils,  fortified plant milk (soy, hemp, almond, etc), chickpeas, hummus, braggs liquids aminos, peanut butter, vegetable oils, vegan ice cream/yogurt, etc.

    Vegan premade foods:

    Amy's: Pizza, pockets, bowls, pot pies, entrees, chili, burritos, burgers.

    Tofurky: Deli slices, sausages, superburgers, franks, tempeh, jurky.

    LightLife: Meat substitutes such as tempeh, bacon, chicken, & beef.

    Boca: Burgers

    Morgingstar: Burgers, meal starters.

    Gardenburger: Burgers, BBQ riblets, other meat substitutes such as chicken, & sausage.

    Silk Soymilk: Chocolate, Vanilla, Nog, Pumpkin, Spice, & Chai.

    Tofutti: Better Than Cream Cheese.

    Earth Balance: Whipped Spread.

    Vegan Gourmet: Cheese

    So Delicious/Purely Decadent: Ice Cream & yogurt.

  3. Winter Squash....Cook pieces for a few minutes in microwave, cut up add to salad.  

    Sweet Potato....as above,instead of potato, so healthy.

    Canned Spinach, great and easy to fix, does not replaceregular fresh but easy and cheap

    great to have on hand for mixing with rice,di[ps, or soups.

    Greens....Any.  I buy what is on sale.

    Beans, grains, try all the ones you never tried.

    I like dried Garbanzo, Favas, soaked, cooked, mixed with olive oil, garlic, lemon.

    Tofu...get creative.

    Expensive oils and vinegars. They are worth the $$$

    Just tried blueberry vinegar and apple oil, wonderful.  

    Also try Nut Oils, Avocado Oil

  5. See my families shopping list is strange my fiance is vegan and I am not so there is alot of veggies and some meat. When I cook always make anything meatless and if I want meat in something it is on the side.
