I'm 15 yrs old, and got my bottom wisdom teeth at age 13. i know that's SUPER young but it's because i had 4 teeth when i was 3 months old.. i'm getting these two teeth out on friday and i really need to know if any of ytou Yahoo(!) users know if my age is a problem...

and i would like to know how BAD it is that the right side of my mouth is kinda badly swollen. will it be possible to remove the tooth? and if so, will it complicate things more?

thx ahead of time

  1. they need to come out

  2. eventually itll fell alot better my cousin did it at 19 but god luck hope ur fine!

  3. your age is not important, the younger you get your wisdom teeth out the less chance of someting bad happening. as you get older the teeth grow closer to the nerves in your mouth.

ive had trouble with my wisdom teeth, and they would always get swollen and cause ear infections etc.

if that happens to you its good your getting them about before future problems or they become impacted.

your lucky your only getting 2 out...im going to hospital for surgery tomorrow for all 4 =]

  4. I got my wisdom teeth extracted when I was 13 but since the teeth had not grown in yet, they had to make incisions to get to the teeth.  As long as your knocked out while they are performing the surgery, you won't feel a thing.

If they can remove a tooth from beneath the gum they can probably easily remove a tooth with swelling around the gum.
