VERY VERY simple taco salad? Please hellpp!!?

Can you tell me how to exactly make that? I need this to be perfect. Thank you so much for all your help! :] I really appreciate it.

  1. I am having a vegetarian taco salad for lunch today.  I am using iceberg lettuce shredded, warming about 1/3 cup black beans, not to hot so it doesn't melt the lettuce.  Then topping with diced green onions, diced tomatoes, slices of avocados, spicy salsa, and shredded cheddar cheese.

This should be easy.  You'll have to buy taco salad shells (I usually just make my taco salads with tortilla chips, though) unless you want to make your own.  You can do that by spraying a bowl with nonstick cooking spray, lining with the tortilla, and then baking.  Then just layer it-- lettuce, meat, beans if you want, shredded cheddar, salsa or pico de gallo, and sour cream.  Easy, easy.

    chopped lettuce ( can use a bag of chopped romaine lettuce)

    l-can refried beans

    ground beef

    l-packet taco seasoning mix (I sometimes use one can of enchilada sauce instead)

    chopped tomato

    chopped green onion

    chopped black olives

    shredded cheddar cheese

    salsa

    sour cream

    Put refried beans in microwave safe dish for a minute or two

    Brown ground beef, drain and add taco seasoning or enchilada sauce

    Take your salad shell, first put in refried beans, lettuce, ground beef, tomatoes, onions, black olives, cheddar cheese, and top with a little salsa and sour cream.

    Very easy, very delicious!

You can usually buy the crowns (bowls) in the grocery store (will be where all the taco fixin's are).  If you can't find them, get large flour tortillas.  You can then fold them over the top of a large tin can (empty and with no label of course), and bake them in the oven at 350-deg F for about 10 minutes (check to make sure it doesn't burn).

    Get a pound of ground beef and a packet of taco seasoning & follow directions on the packet (which is usually to brown the beef, drain, add packet contents & water, and simmer).

    No get your fave filling, and you are on a roll!:

    *refried beans

    *shredded lettuce

    *shredded cheese

    *diced tomatoes

    *jalapeno peppers

    *salsa (heat of your choice)

    *sour cream

    *guacamole

    *sliced green onions

    Any or all of the above ingredients will work great (or choose something else if you like).  Just layer it all together like the picture, and you have a beautiful taco salad!  :)


  7. 1 taco shell

    1 can black bean (drained) or refried beans

    2 chicken b*****s sliced or one pound lean hamburger meat

    season meat with cumin, chile powder, garlic powder, Cayenne, salt and pepper. Or use taco seasoning packet.

    Shredded romaine or ice berg lettuce

    2 diced avocados

    salsa

    sour.cream

    half a lime

    Place beans at the bottom of the taco shell. Then add cooked meat. Top with shredded lettuce, diced avocado, salsa and sour cream. Squeeze half a lime over the top of salad and season with salt and pepper.

    When you make this salad with chicken breast and black beans it is super yummy and super healthy

  8. That taco bowl is something that is usually for sale in the refrigerated section at the store. Usually I believe that are Azteca brand. They have a little form that you drape the tortilla over. Then you bake it in the oven. Then, get a packet of taco seasoning and make the meat according to the package. Shred some lettuce, dice some tomato and grate some cheese. Then layer it in the taco bowl and top with sour cream. Enjoy.  

  9. If you want it to look like the picture you will need

    1. 1 lb ground beef

    2. 1 package of taco meat seasoning

    3. taco salad shells

    4. Green leaf lettuce

    5. Salsa or Picante sauce

    6. Shredded cheese (Cheddar/Monterey Jack blend or a Mexican blend.)

    7.Sour Cream

    Cook the ground beef in a skillet and drain the grease.

    Add the taco seasonings to the beef with the amount of water listed on the package. Probably 2/3 cup

    Wash and dry some of the lettuce.

    Arrange the lettuce on the taco shell

    Place your taco meat in the center of the shell on top of the lettuce.

    Add some cheese on top of the meat

    Spoon Salsa (or picante) on top of the cheese

    Spoon a dollop of Sour cream on top of the Salsa

    Eat!
