  1. A chocolate muffin doesn't have enough chocolate in it to hurt a dog. She may have an upset stomach or loose stools, but she'll be fine.

    .

  2. She will be fine. You said it was yesterday? If it was going to make her sick she would be showing signs by now. Stop worrying.

  3. she's fine. dont worry it would have effected her already.

  4. Some dogs are highly allergic to chocolate, that`s why we are warned not to feed chocolates. It can make them very ill. Apparently your dog has not reacted to what she ate yesterday, so you are lucky. Just be more careful in the future. Before the choc. scare became know, I fed my Pomeranian a Hershey kiss every day, she loved them, had no ill effect what-so-ever. I no longer take that chance with my present dog.

  5. If she doesn't seem sick then she is fine. Believe me, one time my dog ate a chocolate cake and oreo cookies! And she's still alive and kicking 12 years later. I think people make too big of a deal when it comes to dogs eating chocolate. Yes, it's bad for them (as it is for us). But as long as their immune system is ok, and they don't consume it often, then they should be fine. If you have a tiny dog, I would be a little worried. But I think she should be fine. Dog's immune systems are quite amazing, so don't be so concerned. If you are really that worried, you can call a vet or an emergency pet hospital (they're open 24/7) and ask them what they think. Most places will immediately say, "bring her in" on the account they just want to make money, despite the fact they know she'll be fine. But some places will offer some suggestions.

  6. That shouldn't really cause any problems. Loads of dogs get fed stuff by their owners they shouldn't really be eating, but it rarely has any side effects.

  7. You already asked this question here;

    If it happened yesterday she will be fine. If the chocolate was to effect her it would have happened within 12 hours or so from the incident.

  8. She should be fine. Just keep an eye on her for any symptoms that may occur. My dog ate a small box full of dark chocolates from Fannie Mae...and he is absolutely fine.
