Build a great portfolio and send it out, promote your online work every day and give good photographers in need ot these services a free retouching sample so they can see what you are worth.

Becoming self-employed and pusing yourself every day will probably have more results rather than looking for employment these days.Be aware of the competition from low payment countries over the internet.

Should you really want an internship, try to get one at an established agency/company and not in a mediocre one that just exploits people every three months only to replace them with a new batch.
